Where I've lived:  All together, I have lived in eight different states and twelve different cities or towns. I was born in Lumberton, NC, but lived in AL, FL, and TN by the time I was three years old. When I was four and a half, we moved to Garland, TX, a suburb of Dallas. I attended kindergarten through second grade at Big Springs Elementary. I haven't kept in touch with my friends from there, but Teal or Karen if you are out there let me know! I went to third grade in Eufaula, AL at Bluff City Elementary. Hello to Carolyn, Stevie (my first "boyfriend"), Frannie, Jenny, Jennifer, Danny, and Brandy. I went to fourth grade at Camp Creek Elementary in Lilburn, GA (a suburb of Atlanta, right near Stone Mountain). My best friend there was Jenny Christiansen. In August of 1986 we moved to Murphy, NC and I attended fifth through tenth grade there. I still keep in touch with people from the area and have been back to visit a few times. The summer before eleventh grade we moved to Roanoke, VA which is where my parents still live. I graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1994, and came to William & Mary in August '94. I graduated from there in May 1998 and moved to State College, PA to attend graduate school at Penn State University. Chris and I then moved to Raleigh in August of 2001. In late October 2004, we returned to Roanoke, where we plan to stay for a long, long time.

Some of my old papers from college...just for fun, I thought I'd post them here.
