Tonight was my last night at my school (Manners 'N More). I got to practice a new thing... the chute. I also got to do the teeter a lot and the happy table. I have had a great time there doing 'gility and I will miss my teachers and the other dogs. I will put up some pictures of them soon in my photo gallery. Mom and Dad said that there was 'gility in North Carolina, so maybe it will be okay. link to this post | 7.15.2001
Hi y'all (I am practicing my Southern accent). I just wanted to let you know that there are new pictures in my photo gallery. It's been a while since the last update, so check them out. Woof! link to this post | 7.11.2001
Wow, we just got back from a long trip. I tried really hard to be good and I think it paid off... I am going to have a yard soon! We went to this house and Mom and Dad said it was going to be mine, I mean ours, and it had a yard with sticks and everything. I think the yard was in North Carolina. Mom and Dad have been talking about that place for a while but I had never seen it until this trip. I got to do lots of things on this trip. I rode in the car a lot, but I didn't mind. It was an adventure. One day we got to go to the ocean. Last time, Mom and Dad just stood on the beach and watched me play, but this time, Mom changed into some funny looking fur and went in the ocean with me. I didn't know she could swim! The waves were really rough, though, and it made Mom and me real tired, so we didn't swim for very long. After that I got to go to a new place and see some old friends. I got to play with my friend Tanilla. Here is her picture: She looks a lot like me, huh? We could be twins. Then on the way home at night there was some excitement. Something happened and Mom and Dad were stopped on the side of the road. This strange man came up to Mom's window and started yelling at her in a really mean way. I got pretty mad and barked at him so he would go away and not bother us. Later on, I ate a McDonald's double quarter pounder and large fries to reward myself for protecting my parents (while they weren't looking, of course). It was in the front seat of the car... finders keepers! link to this post | 7.1.2001
Woo, what a great day, and it's not even dinnertime yet. I got to go swimming today with my friend Rolf. He's a black cocker spaniel. When we got to the lake there was a surprise: Keiver was there. I hope that's the right way to spell his name. He is a golden retriever and his mom works at Wiscoy. She is super nice and even let me play with Keiver's floppy disc frisbee. Maybe mom and dad will get me one of those someday. I usually have to retrieve sticks at the lake because sometimes I don't feel like going after whatever it is that mom or dad threw and so my toys get lost. Today they brought a hard frisbee which I really love but it is kind of hard to carry in the water. Something else is up... mom and dad went to Wiscoy and brought home a bag of food. It doesn't smell like Jefferson's or mine, so I am not sure who it is for. Oh, wait, maybe I am going to eat new food! I'll find out and let you know. link to this post | |
