Hard to believe she'll be 10 months old tomorrow. She's doing well - she's finally got a couple of teeth! We first figured out they were coming on July 6, and they popped on through sometime within the next week or so. She's getting a lot better at cruising and just this weekend she started really wanting to walk while holding on to someone's hands. She used to step sideways and all over the place and sometimes just sit down, but now she's walking more like the rest of us do. It will be neat to see her do it without assistance. I'm predicting that it will happen sometime during the month of September.
We've been keeping the road up to VA hot with three trips this month. We're all looking forward to a little less travel. We have just one day trip left and then we're done for a while, we think. I look forward to the time when Emma Kate can talk and tell us why she hates riding in the car, particularly at night. For now she just lets us know by screaming, which certainly gets the message across loud and clear!
I'll leave you with a funny site that Chris pointed out to me: The Trixie Update. Turns out these people live in the Triangle area. Even with my love of statistics, I never even dreamed of collecting data and reporting on my daughter's life like this dad. I don't know whether to laugh, be impressed, be worried about the dad, or try to figure out how to do some of the same things myself!
