Well, apparently I've still got the touch with cheesecake. Last night I made one for our work Christmas party today, and it is the best looking cheesecake I've ever made - not a crack in sight. Maybe the cheesecake gods were just smiling on me last night, because I didn't do anything special (no water bath, etc.). I just hope it tastes as good as it looks...

Yeah, so, this is turning into an Emma Kate photoblog, I realize. But she's my life these days, and I hear there are some people out there who want to see new pictures, so I try to throw some up when I get a chance. I wish I had time to put up new albums, but maybe someday.
Anyway, she's become quite the smiler, and I think she's got laughs inside that she doesn't quite know how to get out. A couple of times I've heard sounds that I think might qualify as squeals, so I know it won't be long until she's delighting us with her laughter.
