Emma Kate's helping me answer the door in her costume, which we received in the mail today as a gift from my Aunt Rexie and Uncle Arnold. Isn't she a punkin head?

Their gift means all the more to me because yesterday Uncle Arnold had an accident on his tractor. I won't share all the details here, but his feet were run over by the bush hog. He had to crawl to the tractor, drive it back to the house, and crawl to the door to alert my aunt. His right foot got the worst of it, and he has already had one surgery to try to save it, with a second surgery planned for Monday. He is also a diabetic, which complicates things a bit more. He and the rest of my family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.
She's here - and here are some photos. I'll try to post more information later, but she was born Sunday, September 28 at 9:38 pm. She was 9 lbs. 7 oz. and 21.5 inches long. We came home yesterday after a somewhat difficult time in the hospital - she was in the neonatal intensive care nursery until 5 pm on Tuesday due to meconium aspiration. We're so grateful she's okay and are so happy to finally be home with her without all the tubes and wires.
